Research and Development

Lovatt carries on a continuous program of research and development to improve the qualities and properties of this processes and to develop new processes for metals and other materials. This program illustrates Lovatt's dedication to help industry solve problems as problems develop. Lovatt treats metals using their unique circuitry and their special proprietary electrolyte, creating a surface of dense molecular structure.

Some of Lovatt's trademarks include:

AKADIZE (FORMERLY BANADIZE) (ALUMINUM)
SHERADIZE (STEEL)
TIMADIZE (TITANIUM AND OTHER EXOTIC METALS)
EBACOLOR (ARCHITECTURAL ALUMINUM)

Although the technology is revolutionary, there is no mystery concerning results. Akadize (formerly Banadized) aluminum parts were used on the lunar flights, and technicians from numerous industries relate that problems never before solved are currently being solved through Lovatt processes.

EBACOLOR
ARCHITECTURAL ALUMINUM (Ebacolor) is a unique treatment designed for architectural applications. Using 6063 aluminum, Ebacolor produces colors ranging from light gold to brown and black. Although Ebacolor is a distinct treatment, not to be confused with Banadize, Ebacolor produces a surface of exceptional durability, and corrosion resistance. Ebacolor should not be confused with "bronze anodizing" or any conventional aluminum process. Besides being durable, Bicolor tones can be maintained with uniformity, even in separate job runs.
